NEED: Invisible Children needed an effective way to build a mobile list through web sign-ups and mobile.
Results: More than 25,000 mobile subscribers. The Invisible Children web sign-up form allowed visitors to enter their mobile number and when they hit submit, they received a text message that allowed them to opt-in. Additionally, callers could text the keyword IC plus their email address to be added to the IC email list.
MobileCause has also launched a mobile giving solution to allow callers to text RESCUE to 20222 to donate $5 to Invisible Children. Your tax-deductible donation appears on your mobile phone bill.
